How to Join LET


  1. Register on the LET Website

    • Visit the LET main website: http://www.j-let.org
    • Click on "Member Registration" at the top right of the homepage
    • Follow the instructions to input the necessary information

  2. Pay the Annual Fee

    Payment should be made by Postal Transfer (Yuubin furikae)

    Important Notice:

    Please use Postal Transfer when possible, as it's easier to identify the sender.

Important Information


  • By paying dues to the Kansai Chapter, you are automatically registered as a member of the national organization.

  • After completing the registration on the LET main website, your data will be automatically sent to the chapter. No additional contact with the chapter office is necessary.

  • Note for Students: Even if you are enrolled as a student, if you hold a full-time teaching position, please register as a Regular Member.

Chapter Transfer and Withdrawal


  • If you wish to transfer to a different LET chapter or withdraw from LET, please contact the chapter office by email. We will provide confirmation and instructions on the procedure.

  • Please refer to Articles 10 and 11 of the LET Constitution regarding withdrawal and expulsion:

    • Article 10: Members wishing to withdraw must pay all dues and submit a withdrawal notice to their chapter office (for Regular Members, Student Members, and Group Members) or to the main office (for Supporting Members).

    • Article 11: Members may be expelled for:
      1. Failure to pay dues for two years
      2. Actions contrary to LET's principles or that significantly damage LET's reputation
